Anne Bishop has captured my attention and imagination since Written in Red and she has kept her promise to her readers from the first word. I must admit I am not a fan of her earlier work, but I think that shows how amazing this series is that someone who steered clear of her books is now trusting her with my emotional sanity. I just finished reading Marked in Flesh by Anne Bishop, the third book of The Others series. For those of you who have not read any of the books, The Others trilogy tells the story of a different world where humans are not the main predator. Anne Bishop’s worldbuilding is fascinating.
